Ellis has been doing so well since we brought Leo home from the hospital. He likes to give him kisses and talks to him often. I have only once found him trying to pick him up out of his chair and he has only hit him twice but other than that he has been good.
Ellis also hasn't been jealous either. Rob and I can coo over Leo and Ellis doesn't even notice. He doesn't try and get our attention or anything. I have today noticed though that when I am feeding Leo, Ellis will try and do something naughty to see if he can get away with it. Poor Leo has his feeds interrupted all the time but I can't let Ellis win.
Ellis also started screaming when Leo is crying. It only started today and I am hoping that if I ignore it long enough, he will stop doing it.
He helps me out a lot too. He passes me nappies, and puts the dirty ones out in the hall way. He likes to watch Leo feed and has attempted, only tonight, to get latched on himself! I have tried to explain to him that it is food for babies and not big boys like him. He seems to understand but the interest is still there. To be fair to him, it has been less than a year since he stopped.
I only hope that he continues to love that Leo is here and that they grow a close bond and are best mates for years to come.
